Подскажите, пожалуйста, как отследить закрытие вкладки или окна браузера?

не работает в Опере. Есть ли более гибкое решение?

Opera не поддерживает этот тип события. onunload работает только при переходе по ссылке. Закрытие вкладки или окна браузера в Opera не отслеживается.
