Да, я поставил activated свойство в моем классе:

и меня rules() метод следующим образом:

то, что я пытался установить в search() способ есть фильтр по полю activated_at в зависимости от $activated значение (см. выше код):

С GridView - все остальные фильтры работают, кроме этого.

что я здесь делаю не так?

и как правильно делать такого рода запросы:

IS NULL something
IS NOT NULL something

С Yii 2-х ActiveRecord конструктор запросов?

EDIT: строку: if(!isset($_GET['deleted'])) используется для чего-то еще и это обычно работает.
