но теперь форматирование оси больше не работает и я получаю ошибки такой:

перед bp.set_xlabel("") оператор, попробуйте вместо этого:

p = plt.gca()
p.set_xlabel("")
p.set_title("Some plot", fontsize=60)
p.tick_params(axis='y', labelsize=60)
p.tick_params(axis='x', labelsize=60)
